When it  comes to truth: Who you listen to is an issue of eternal significance.

Truth = the self-expression of God -“that which is consistent with the mind, will, character, glory and being of God.” John MacArthur

 People will fight to eliminate truth when it does not line up with their personal agenda (vs. 28-32,39,40).

 People will ignore the truth under the weight of social pressure (vs. 38, 39; 19:1-16).

 People will testify to the truth when they listen to God.

 Christ’s physical birth (His Royal Visit) points to the mission of our spiritual birth; To testify to the truth!
