Six ways the hope-filled faith of others fills you with thankful and settled hope.
1. Hope based on how you came to be. (1,4)
“in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”
“Loved by God...and chosen”
2. Hope based on who you came to be. (3,5)
POWER: You bring Jesus close...“a game-worn jersey”
3. Hope based on who you continue to be in the face of significant cost. (6)
A Jesus-only loyalty; your real God vs. their dead idols!
4. Hope based on how others speak of you. (7,8)
A model of health, growth, ministry, evangelism
5. Hope based on what you have actually done in your life. (9)
Repented of idolatry/false gods...to serve the living and true God
6. Hope based on what the future really holds for you. (10)
A pre-wrath rescue!
