He will testify about Me.

Be Christ’s presence in persecution (15:18-25; 16:1-7).
I will send Him to you.

Convict the belligerent world directly and through our Christian advocacy (16:8-10).
He will convict the world of guilt.

- Of sin—not believing in Christ

- Of righteousness—the flawed foolishness of self-righteousness and the loss of Christ as an earthly model

- Of judgment—their champion is condemned and their judgment is warped

Reveal the excellencies of Christ (16:12-15).
He will not speak on His own...He will bring glory to Me

- Historic-Recollection and appreciation of what Jesus taught and did (14:26)

- Doctrinal-Upload from Christ to the Holy Spirit of THE truth—set body of truth belonging to the Father and the Son (16:13,15)
