Three aspects of the redemptive gospel we must not neglect to remember (1 Cor. 15:1-11):

1. The gift of the gospel (vs. 1-2)

-faith comes from hearing the message...(Rom. 10:13-17)
-received by faith the gospel saves (vs. 2)
-remaining faithful to the gospel is evidence of salvation (vs. 2)

2. The truth of the gospel (vs. 3-7)

-that Christ died for our sins
-that he was buried
-and that he was raised on the 3rd day
*the penalty for sin is paid and death has been defeated!*

3. The power of the gospel (vs. 8-11)

- reaches the worst offenders
- transforms lives
- empowers us to be effective on mission
